"Why has my listing been deprioritised, deactivated or removed?"

It is important for us to provide the best user experience to our site users and valuable guests. This means that we have had to take steps to ensure that we send the bulk of our enquiries to establishments that quote timeously and are happy to accept the business from SA-Venues.com.

So, your listing may have been deprioritised, deactivated or completely removed from the site for one or more of the following reasons:

  • You have repeatedly tried to bypass our system and prompted the guest to contact you directly or even indirectly
  • More than 20% of the enquiries sent to you over a certain period of time go unanswered even after we have contacted you
  • More than 50% of the enquiries that you receive over a certain period of time receive a "not available" response from you. Note, it is possible to avoid getting booking requests for dates for which you're unavailable by marking off your calendar. If you need help, ask us.
  • You have cancelled a significant number of confirmed bookings
  • Your conversion rate of requests to bookings is considerably lower than the average rate on the website
  • The average review for your property scores 2 stars or fewer
  • Either you or one of your staff has been repeatedly rude to our staff

My property has been deactivated. How do I reactivate my listing?

Send an email to our Ops Manager and we will contact you regarding your listing as soon as possible.
