Spent 2 night here, very pleased. Very helpful proprietor, lovely family room, great breakfast on the terrace looking over the lagoon and also good wifi - a major plus in South Africa! |

There are many pluses. The view and position are superb and the recently decorated (?) room very smart even if the bathroom was still a bit dated. Ernest was very friendly and helpful. The Breakfasts were excellent and the room in which they were served very stylish and a bit of a period piece.
The only quibble really was that when we arrived our room had not been aired and presumably not used for a bit and was very cold and damp requiring extra heating and a lot of airing the next day from which it was fine. This was clearly a blip as it was the winter and quiet.
From a minor point I was a little disappointed that the lovely primrose yellow had gone and a rather cold blue/green had been as a 'trim'. This is only personal taste of course! |
