In December 2008 my husband and I (retired), together with our son, daughter-in-law and two children (aged 4 and 14 months) from Germany, spent several days at Wits End. From beginning to end the holiday couldn't have been better. The chalets were superbly appointed with everything we could wish for and the staff were very efficient, thorough, accommodating and friendly. The facilities at Wits End were a big hit with all of us, from the peace, quiet and scenery for my husband and I, the many surrounding places of interest for my son and daughter in law and the playground, rock pool and open spaces for the grandchildren. We all had such a wonderful time and can't wait to repeat it as soon as possible! Sincere thanks to Graham and all at Wits End who made our stay such a pleasure.

after a horrific start to a weekend getaway, at Acoorn Cottages, comming to Wits End restored our faith in the Drakensberg\'s beauty, cleanliness and serenity. the hospitality we received on arrival, which was without booking, was warm and welcoming. They were able to revive our hopes for a good weekend by settling us into our challet as quickly as possible. the facilities are top notch. the challet is spotlessly clean and has a jungle gym and trampoline for the little ones. we had lots of fun braaing and swimming in the pool. there is lots to do within a close radius. definitly going to stay there again. |
