The Blue Bedouin is a Moroccan style self catering guest house nestled in a quiet part of Langebaan, overlooking the idyllic Langebaan Lagoon on the Cape West Coast. The Blue Bedouin consists of 3 self catering units, each with its own character. The Blue Bedouin gives a feel of “really getting away” and is a great place for couples and families to come and relax and get away from the city. We have a communal braai area with 3 large built-in braais and picnic tables. AccommodationAll units are fully equipped and all linen and bath towels are provided. Our units are equipped with televisions and pick up the local terrestrial channels, as well as wireless internet reception in each room. Casablanca: Casablanca is a lagoon facing unit suitable for a couple, and consists of a queen bed with en-suite bathroom with a large corner bath and shower. An open plan kitchenette unit opens through stained glass double doors onto our koi pond and boasts wonderful lagoon views. Marrakech: Marrakech is another unit suitable for a couple and consists of a queen bed with en-suite bathroom with a large corner bath and shower. An open plan kitchenette unit opens through double doors onto our central Moroccan courtyard where you can relax in a bohemian environment. At night this courtyard is lit by candle light to give this space a real Bedouin camp feel. Tangier: Tangier is our family unit and consists of 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an open plan kitchen and living area that opens through double doors onto a private patio that has wonderful lagoon views. Activities & AttractionsThere is plenty to do in Langebaan and the surrounds, from spending your days on the lagoon with a variety of water sports, to watching the most amazing sunsets, cocktail in hand from the comfort of your patio. Langebaan has some of the best kite-boarding waters in the world and every year enthusiasts make the journey here for our perfect conditions. It’s a great place to come and learn the sport, with some of the best instructors around running courses at very reasonable rates. We are also famous for our rich fishing grounds and amazing birdlife, the West coast national park has some amazing bird hides and untouched beaches. The Blue Bedouin is close to the centre of town where there’s a host of restaurants and bars and a 5km drive to Club Mykonos resort and casino. The newly renovated Langebaan golf club is just up the road and has a fantastic 18 hole championship course. Horse riding and quad biking are also in close proximity to us. ACCREDITATIONS
