Suretta's is an owner run B&B with a small eatery. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly and we cater for a wide variety of needs, offering a true "home from home" experience! Three languages are spoken - German, English, and Afrikaans.

Accommodation

Suretta's has three en-suite bedrooms. There are two family rooms with three and four large single beds and one double room with two single beds. All are cozy and homely. Each room has a TV with SABC1, 2, 3 and E-tv as well as coffee and tea making facilities.

Breakfast

Breakfast is also special! Bacon, eggs and tomato, soft toast and home-made jams are always popular. For those who are tired of bacon and eggs we also serve a breakfast with mueslis etc, fresh fruit salads (seasonal), soft toast with home-made jams, cheeses and yoghurts. Tea and coffee, as much as you want! 'Moer koffie' (filtered coffee) is available from the kitchen at all times and you are very welcome to help yourself.

For those who prefer to relax "at home" for a while, we offer tea, coffee and refreshments in a small, pretty garden or in the little Bistro and veranda. You are also welcome to sit in the comfortable lounge and read or chat ...

Dining

Suretta's menu is exotic and very different ranging from Arabian chicken with couscous, Moroccan lamb and dates to tender, tasty German beef olives. Ghanian chicken stew is also popular served with lemon and peanut rice. An all time favourite is slow cooked Karoo lamb, done in Balsamic vinegar, red wine and rosemary and served with heaps of Spätzle and red cabbage. For kiddies we have meals less spicy like chicken a la king or spaghetti. Meals can either be ordered before arrival or (with a short waiting period) on arrival.

Location

We are located directly on the main road (N1) in Beaufort West, within easy walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The Karoo National Park is a mere 5km outside Beaufort West and is well worth a visit. The Christian Barnard Museum, 2 kilometres away, is open until 17h00 on weekdays.
