Four * luxurious New York Style loft apartment, in the fabulously trendy and historical, De Waterkant. Huge double volume floor to ceiling windows provide stunning 180 degree views of Table Mountain, Signal Hill and the pretty coloured houses of Bo Kaap
The first thing any of my guests say when walking into B2 Soho on Strand, is 'wow look at those views!' They simply are to die for! Prepare yourself for panoramic 180 degree magnificent views, you won’t want to watch any television here, you wont be able to stop looking out of the windows! The double volume, floor to ceiling windows even provide views of the mountain from the comfort of your bed and Lions Head whilst you walk down the stairs from your loft bedroom.
Once over the views, the next 'wow' is the apartment itself. Clad from top to toe in dark wood and travertine tiles, granite tops and luxurious finishes, this apartment has the feel of a hotel, with the luxury and privacy of being an apartment. It has absolutely everything you need, just bring your clothes! Tea and coffee is provided, and of course a bottle of wine or a pack of beers in the fridge for your arrival.
The fully equipped kitchen provides everything you need to cook up a storm with comfortable bar stools surrounding the breakfast bar if you choose to eat inside. If you prefer to eat alfresco with Table Mountain as your backdrop, there is no place better than on your own private balcony!
A fully integrated sound and entertainment system with LCD TV and all your favourite satellite channels will keep the TV addicts satisfied, or you can watch your favourite movie; listen to Ipod, MP3 or CDs.
Stairs will lead you up to a beautiful loft level bedroom with a king-size bed, down duvet and plenty of cupboard space. As i said, the views do not stop, you can still take it all in from up here.
If you feel like a swim, then just hop down one floor to the communal pool and sundeck, with BBQ facilities for those who like to cook like the South Africans!
Now to get on about the area … the apartment really is slap bang in the middle of the most fantastically trendy hip and happening area, situated in the heart of Cape Town, it is the ideal base to explore the delights of the Mother City, making it the perfect choice for business executives and holidaymakers. Just one block away is the European style Cape Quarter complete with boutique, designer and specialist shops, sidewalk cafes, delis, and plenty of restaurants and bars buzzing by day and night.
If you can tear yourself away, then the V&A Waterfront is 5 blocks, vibey Long Street three blocks, Cape Town International Convention Centre and the impressive 2010 stadium both a short walk away, in fact the adjacent street to the complex makes up the Fan Walk that takes you directly to the football ground. The cableway up to Table Mountain is less than a 10 minute drive away, as are the fine beaches of Camps Bay and Clifton.
The block is within easy reach of all major highways - the journey to the airport is just a 20 minute drive, and to get away from it all, the rolling hills of the beautiful winelands of Stellenbosch and beyond is a mere 35 minute drive.
