We are located in the heart of the renowned Waterberg, one of Africa’s most unique safari lodges offering you the real “out of Africa” experience at affordable rates. At Rock Lodge you can savour the mystique of the true African bushveld.

Accommodation

The lodge has three luxury chalets, bathroom en-suite, the shower with its glass window makes you feel part of the bush. Each chalet has a stunning view of the bush and at night one can relax on the patio whilst watching the game.

Enjoy sundowners on our deck overlooking the Waterberg, watching a picturesque African sunset, relax around the fireplace, or just laze around in the Jacuzzi between the rocks.

As the African sun sets, guests can gather around the fireplace and dining area to enjoy the cuisine offered in our restaurant. All meals are served from our A la Carte Menu. If you have any dietary requirements, do not hesitate to advise us. The bar in our restaurant is open for refreshments.

Rock Lodge also caters for private functions or conferences.

Activities and Attractions

Game drives with the exciting chance of seeing giraffe, zebra, nyala, warthog, waterbuck, impala, kudu, ostrich, brown hyena, black back jackal. You can safely walk and experience the abundant bird life, fascinating marked indigenous trees and plants, or sit in the game hide overlooking the waterhole.

The Waterberg, with its natural beauty and diverse biosphere, is truly a wildlife paradise for the discerning nature enthusiast and family groups.

One hour elephant rides are available on a neighbouring farm, and culminate with tea, coffee, rusks, sandwiches and croissants. Game to be seen during an elephant back ride include rhino, buffalo, giraffe, sable and a large variety of plains game.
