Have to agree totally with Passainte's comments. Due to the warmth and hospitality extended by Dee, her daughter, staff and friends I extended my stay from 2 days to 6 and thanks to all at Poona Lodge was able to see and experience so much of what this region has to offer - Kruger Park is just the beginning. The accommodation, meals and facilities offer a relaxing 'home away from home' experience whilst exploring some of the marvels of South Africa. I hope to return one day and would highly recommend Poona Lodge to anyone travelling through this area.

Poona Lodge is an amazing Guest Lodge situated 15 minutes from Kruger National Park (which is perfect). The moment you enter the Lodge you\'ll meet the amazing Dee (lodge\'s owner), who will explain to you all about the bush that she loves, Kruger Park, animals, birds & make you the best plan to spend an Ideal Vacation.
Everything is neat & clean. Don\'t you miss Dee\'s cooking, you should try her freshly baked bread, cottage pie & chicken pie, and don\'t miss her barbecue, Yummmmi!!!
The service is really good, & people are Soooo friendly.
It was Greaaaat, Really felt like home...
