About The Old Pastorie
The Old Pastorie is an 1865 Manor house of historic importance, and a heritage property.
The Old Pastorie is situated in its own nature reserve of 100 acres (40 hectares), which includes a dam with lots of interesting bird life that make it their home at different times of the year.
From the top of the estate there are wonderful views of the whole of Darling and surrounding areas.
This is a haven of peace and tranquility.
The Old Pastorie offers four en-suite rooms sleeping eight persons in total.
All rooms are large with en-suite bathrooms as well as Queen size beds, quality linen and furnishings. Rooms have views over the garden or lake.
The Guest House is pet friendly but with some restrictions because of the wild-life.
There is a deep plunge pool available from December to May.
Breakfast is not included but is available by prior arrangement. Additionally, there are many superb places in Darling that specialise in breakfasts that are very interesting to visit.
We offer 100 acres (40 hectares) of private reserve for walking, and viewing the bird life on our Lake. Herons, Spoonbills, Egyptian geese and many others make this their home at different times of the year.
