Newlands Guest Cottages are newly renovated, self-catering cottages situated in the convenient Newlands / Rondebosch area. This is right below the University of Cape Town and only 10 minutes drive from the airport and the City Centre with the V&A Waterfront.AccommodationThe two cottages can accommodate up to 6 guests. Each cottage has a modern fully equipped kitchen with microwaves, toasters, kettles, fridge / freezers and gas hob. Towels are provided, also hairdryers, both cottages have a DSTV and wireless ADSL internet connection is also available for a small charge. The cottages have Weber barbecues for use on their patios and a heated swimming pool. The cottages are serviced once a week. The office is manned by Godfrey Machada, an experienced manager in our service for nearly 4 years. Clarkia Guest Cottage (Sleeps 4) Clarkia Cottage can sleep 4 guests and is a free standing, self-catering cottage with secure parking for one sedan car next to the cottage with direct access to the front garden. The front garden has an authentic water feature with old rose trees, oak tree and a covered patio to sit and enjoy the unique Newlands atmosphere. The two spacious double bedrooms can accommodate up to 4 guests with a choice of single or king beds in each bedroom. Our beds are of superior quality and covered by 100% percale cotton linen and down duvets. Extra blankets for icy winters and extra flat sheets for hot summer nights are provided. The big family-farm style, separate bathroom offers a bath and shower. The cottage is comfortable with separate living room with DSTV and an open plan well equipped dining/kitchen area. An enclosed back patio has barbecue/braai facilities and outside table and chairs. The cottage is child friendly and the interior is completely on one level and hassle free. RyanClare Cottage (Sleeps 2) RyanClare Cottage is a one bedroom cottage ideal for a couple or a single person needing lots of space. It is an upstairs / downstairs cottage with a very big bedroom with an in-suite bath/shower and toilet. The bedroom can have 2 single beds or a romantic king size bed with 100% percale cotton linen and down duvet. RyanClare has an air conditioner with a heat pump to keep you cool during hot summers and warm during cold winters. Downstairs RyanClare has a very spacious kitchen/living room opening up with stack doors onto a vine covered patio with barbecue / braai area. The pool has a security net that is not seen on photos. There is a security gate at the top of the inside stairs and at the bottom of the outside stairs if you want to bring your little one with. RyanClare is child friendly, however parents are responsible for little ones around the pool area.
