Self Catering Chalets
Namib Safari Lodge offers 14 fully serviced self catering chalets with en-suite bathrooms with a bath and shower. Each chalet has it own private balcony and secure parking bay. Television with DSTV (please bring your own SmartCard).

Bed & Breakfast Rooms
We also offer 14 serviced bed & breakfast units with a bar fridge, coffee making facilities and en-suite bathrooms with a shower only. Television with selected DSTV channels.

All Units Offer:
All units are equipped with air conditioning, telephones, hair dryers and dedicated geysers. Braai / barbeque facilities are available on request. The lodge has a sparkling swimming pool with a luxury lapa and African style bar where meals and sundowners can be enjoyed.

Activities


The complex is ideal for tour groups and families. While staying with us, we can make sure that you get to enjoy the best that the Wetland Park has to offer. Explore the lake on a hippo cruise, take a safari to the Hluhluwe/Umfolozi Big Five Reserve, go deep sea fishing or do whale and dolphin watching. There are walking trails, turtle tours, night drives and beach adventures.

There is a world of wonder waiting for you in the Greater St Lucia Wetlands World Heritage Site. We'll help you find it. St.Lucia - a very special slice of Africa, the greater St Lucia Wetland Park offers eco tourists some of the most diverse wildlife and outdoor experiences imaginable. For this reason it was declared a World Heritage Site in December 1999.

The lake and surrounding area, as well as the wetlands surrounding it, teems with hippos, crocodiles and many other wild animals. Birds include fish eagles, hornbills, Goliath herons, paddle-billed storks, green pigeons, Loerie's (3 species), narina, trogons etc. It is probably South Africa's best bird viewing area with over 520 species having been identified here.

Unspoilt beaches, on which turtles lay their eggs, stretch for many hundreds of kilometres northward. Cape Vidal offers excellent snorkelling, protected swimming and your drive through Cape Vidal takes you through a game park with hikes, viewpoints, sub-tropical forest and bush.

The Hluhluwe Umfolozi game park which is known as the Rhino park of the world is approximately a 40 minute drive from St Lucia. You can expect to find the "Big Five" and many more.
