Each of the cottages has its own cozy fireplace or wood-burning stove. They are fully equipped for self catering and braaing (bbq), with bed-linen provided (bring own towels if possible). Ideal for a romantic hide-away - and if you decide to visit us again, your children and pets will be welcome too!

Accommodation

All our units are fully equipped for self-catering, each with its own braai (barbecue) facility. Summer gardens, lovely views, tranquil atmosphere. We are in walking distance from most amenities including four local restaurants, four coffee shops and three pubs. Delicious homemade jams, chutney and braai and fire wood on sale. Swimming pool pn the premises. DSTV in Buitekombuis.

Use of linen is included in our tariffs, but kindly bring along towels (extra if you’ll be enjoying a splash in the pool). Should you be traveling long distance, we'll gladly provide. Well behaved canine guests are very welcome by arrangement and are required to bring their favourite ‘blankie’ for reclining on furniture.

Orchard Cottage - Sleeps four people (three adults or two couples or one couple and two kids)

• Main bedroom, en-suite: 1 x double bed and bath, basin, toilet
• Second room: two single beds and second bathroom: shower, basin, toilet
• Open plan, fully equipped kitchen and lounge / dining
• Fireplace, own outside braai area

Lemon Cottage - Sleeps four people (three adults or two couples or one couple and two kids)
• Palmiet thatched, fireplace, own outside braai area
• Main bedroom, en-suite: 1x queen size bed and bath, basin, toilet
• Second room: two single beds and Second bathroom: shower, basin, toilet
• Open plan, fully equipped kitchen and lounge / dining with divan

Peppertree Cottage - Sleeps one couple or one adult
• Hansel & Gretel, Palmiet thatched and ‘Brandsolder’ ceiling, National Monument
• Bed sitter, en-suite: 1 x king size bed, bath and shower
• Fully equipped kitchen
• Queen Anne fireplace, own outside braai area

Rietdakkie Cottage
• A smaller romantic and cosy version of Oude Molen
• Bed-sitter with separate shower and toilet
• Secluded area in bamboo grove

Blue gum
• Large cottage consisting of bed-sitter en-suite, fireplace, second bedroom and bathroom and loft bedroom for two
• Lounge, large kitchen with separate scullery
• Own braai

Cabins 1&2 (Budget) - Sleeps 2 / 4 (two couples or one couple and two older kids)
• Two wooden chalets with bedroom en-suite and separate open plan living / dining & kitchen.
Veranda & braai area.
• Main bedrooms: 1 x two single beds, 1 x double bed, Bathrooms: shower, basin and toilet
• Outside veranda, braai and seating area
• Two separate units back to back

The Oude Molen - Sleeps 1 Couple/1 Adult
Honeymoon Cottage with Bedroom, En-suite with one Queen sized bed, Queen Anne Stove and Bath and Shower. Fully equipped kitchen, own outside Braai area. (Sorry, no children).

Tours, Seminars and Groups of Friends

We also cater for tours / groups of ten or more people. We also cater for occasional group meals, by arrangement. The buitekombuis at the main cottage is the gathering place for meals and the like. The dining is informal - a big country kitchen (and pub) with a wood stove, where most of the cooking is done for you to view, seating at old oregon pine tables and self-service from the stove or dresser.
