About Marloth Park Buckhouse
Enjoy a true bushveld experience at the ‘Buckhouse’ situated on the Crocodile River overlooking the Kruger National Park.
Relax on the deck boasting breath taking views, sipping sun downers and listening to the sounds of the Fish Eagle cries and the hippopotamuses making you aware of their presence in the river.
The visits to the river from the Big Five such as elephants and buffalo are just to name a few and will make your stay truly unforgettable. Marloth Park boasts over 300 of South Africa’s finest bird species. Whilst sitting around the fire you can expect to be visited by impala, warthog, kudu, wildebeest, zebra and many more animals.
Self Catering Accommodation
Marloth Park Buckhouse offers three bedrooms and a loft accommodating up to 10 people in total. There is a lounge, dining room and fully equipped kitchen fitted with a gas stove, microwave and three fridge / freezers. There are single beds in all of the rooms except for the main bedroom, which is fitted with a queen size bed and an air-conditioner.
The house has two bathrooms, one with a bath and the other with a shower. The loft has a stunning viewing deck which overlooks the legendary Crocodile River. Outside is also a splash pool for you to cool down in after a hot summer day and / or night.
The house is equipped with duvet inners and pillows, however it is required that you bring your own duvet covers, sheets and pillow cases as well as towels. These can be supplied at an extra cost, if required.
The world renowned conservation area, Kruger National Park’s, Malelane and Crocodile Bridge gates are approximately 25km from Marloth Park.
Marloth Park has a private game reserve for exclusive use of Marloth Park residents only, called Lionspruit. Lionspruit houses some of the big five such as lion and buffalo.
