About Treasure House

Treasure House is a self-catering holiday home in Marloth Park, on the doorstep of the Kruger Park. The property is conveniently situated in close proximity to the Crocodile River.

Self Catering Accommodation

Treasure House is air-conditioned and has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The first bedroom is furnished with a Queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and basin. The second bedroom has a Queen-size bed and the third bedroom has two single beds. The shared bathroom is fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and basin.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self catering and includes a gas hob which is convenient for loadshedding and a dishwasher. There is also a breakfast bar with stools. The dining room can seat six guests and there is a cosy lounge.

Sliding doors lead out to the furnished patio, braai area and swimming pool.

The home has a generator for backup power. Any extra use other than the normal two hours of loadshedding will be at an additional cost and by prior arrangement. Full payment if used more than the two hours per day must be paid before your departure.

Attractions

Marloth has its own wildlife and boasts 4 of the Big 5 with the exception of elephant, however as the Crocodile River forms the boundary between Marloth Park and the Kruger National Park you are likely to spot elephants playing in the river.

Buffalo, rhino and lion are confined to Marloth's game reserve, Lionspruit Game Reserve, whereas the rest of the game such as kudu, zebra, giraffe, blue wildebeest, nyala, impala, warthog and plenty more aren't restricted by fences and roam freely between the units that are built on 1500 hectares. Marloth Park offers all the basic commodities such as a hardware store, curio shop, liquor store and more.

Loadshedding Facilities

What is loadshedding? It refers to the temporary suspension of electricity provided by Eskom, South Africa's electricity provider, to reduce consumption and thereby the load on the national grid. To compensate, South African property owners are turning to solar power, inverters with backup batteries or in some cases generators to keep the power on, wherever feasible.
