This is home away from home,it offers peace of mind, the flower garden is very beautiful with a very nice garden, you can sleep with your door open and not fear a thing. louisa the owner is a very sweet woman who is most welcoming ,very very friendly.
Staying with Loiusa at Louwlands adds a great deal to the holiday experience. Arrive as a guess and leave as a friend. Situated in Himeville it is well positioned to enjoy a trip up the world famous Sani Pass into Lesotho. The view of the clear night sky on the way to the pub was absolutely staggering and something that we never really enjoy in the UK. Along with the horse riding I will remember all these things for a very long time. I hope that I can get the opportunity to return asap.
My family and I have visited Louwlands over the past ten years and are always excited when we turn into the gates at Louwlands. This piece of heaven has been a veritable refuge for our weary souls - a place where we can recharge our batteries, flee the humidy of the coast and languish in the hospitality which our ever-charming hostess, Louisa Louw lavishes upon us...she is like a hovering angel who is there when we need her, yet retires gracefully into the background while we laze in front of the roaring fireplace and make her home our own. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated where the beds beckon for a lazy afternoon nap bathed in the glorious sunshine pouring in the through the windows, which look out over the magical garden. It's difficult to tear oneself away from the views to the mountains, especially in the late afternoons, when we've returned from a delightful walk. Louwlands is enchanting throughout the year and we LOVE it !! WHAT a treasure and WHAT a pleasure !
