A galleried first floor television lounge completes the picture. The master bedroom boasts wonderful views of the Franschhoek Mountains, both from the king-size bed and from the Victorian bath. Leading from the living room / dining room a set of wide patio doors lead onto a large covered verandah, a private garden filled with flowers and a delightful swimming pool. Garden furniture, pool loungers and a large sun umbrella are also provided. Dove Cottage has flower filled private gardens to the front and rear of the property. This is the perfect place for a sun-downer after a hard day by the pool or wine tasting! FacilitiesThe house is fully equipped and includes a washing machine / tumble drier, microwave and satellite TV. All linen and towels, including pool towels, are provided. The house is alarmed and has off-street parking and a garage. LocationDove Cottage is located in a quiet residential street but within about a ten minute walk of the main High Street where you can eat and browse among the many Franschhoek restaurants, boutique shops and art galleries. Dove Cottage is also close to the highly regarded Chamonix restaurant and wine estate and the Dieu Donne restaurant and micro brewery. ActivitiesOutdoor activities include hill walking, horse riding, mountain biking and fly fishing. FranschhoekDove Cottage is the perfect place from which to explore all that the Franschhoek valley has to offer. The local wine estates produce some of the region's finest wines and Franschhoek has several of South Africa's best restaurants.
