The perks include a Jetmaster (free wood provided), a honeymoon-styled bathtub, all bedding and towels for 4 persons and basic assentials. There’s no electricity, instead solar panels, a gas stove, geyser and fridge. Attractions & ActivitiesWhether kicking back in the lounge or braaing your lamb chops on the broad timber deck, the view over the river and distant horizons is impressive. A 10-minute stroll brings you to the pool in the river, which is the main focus of activity during your stay - apart from swimming, the occasional walk and general chilling there isn’t much else to do in the immediate vicinity. A tour of a dairy, sheep and ostrich farm (great for kids) can be arranged, and the Grootvadersbosch Nature Reserve, with its fynbos, birdlife, beautiful hikes and brilliant mountain bike trail, is within easy reach by car.
