Vist the Hartbeespoort Dam Aquarium

Enjoy our exciting variety of freshwater and tropical fish, crocodiles (nile, slender-snout and dwarf, all indiginous to Africa), pelicans, seals, penguins and other aquatic animals.

On weekends, we entertain you with our live pelican, seal, penguin and crocodile animal shows. Show times are 11:00 & 15:00 on Saturdays, and 11:00, 13:00 and 15:00 on Sundays and Public Holidays. We offer weekday shows for larger groups, by arrangement. The aquarium is complimented by a pet shop, specialising in the supply of indigenous fish (for the control of algae in ponds and dams) and a lovely tea garden.
