The guesthouse is situated in the heart of the historical area of Belgravia, Kimberley and is three (3) stars graded by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa and is a member of the Kimberley Guesthouse Association. The city center, four restaurants, historical sites, museums and three hospitals are all found within a 950 m radius. AccommodationThe guesthouse offer four bedrooms and one self-catering cottage. Three of the bedrooms are en-suite and one with a private bathroom. The self-catering cottage sleeps four and has an en-suite bathroom and an equipped kitchen. All the bedrooms and the cottage have private entrances. All the rooms and the cottage offer stand alone satellite TV (no sharing of channels), ceiling fans, heaters, bar fridges, tea / coffee trays, electric blankets, complimentary toiletries and have access to the swimming pool, BBQ facility and remote control secure undercover parking. BreakfastAn English breakfast is served in the dining room and is included in the affordable daily tariff. FacilitiesThe parking area cannot be seen from the street and guarantee peace of mind. Guests often remove only their overnight bags therefore no need exists to offload the entire luggage. Internet and fax facilies are available on request. A credit card facility is available to ease payment and the guesthouse is VAT registered. Belgravia Historic WalkBelgravia Bed and Breakfast is situated in the Belgravia Historic Walk, a circular walk that covers a distance of two kilometers and leads the visitor to 33 of the city’s most historical sites. During the walk, old Kimberley’s opulent lifestyle and its characteristic architecture will be revealed. Tourist attractions are the Big Hole, De Beers main office and old board room, diamond display, William Humphrey art gallery, the lesser and greater flamingos, Africana library, McGregor museum, Duggan-Cronin Gallery, Magersfontein battlefield museum, Freddie Tait golf museum and St Cyprian Cathedral. Kimberley is also in support to Bloemfontein that is hosting soccer games for the 2010 soccer world cup as a practice venue. Activities in the surroundings of Kimberley are bird watching, game drives, hunting, river rafting, nature reserves and national parks. Cross two bridges and turn left at second robot after second bridge into QUINN Road. Island starts here. Follow road with island for quite a distance past the statue of Cecil John Rhodes on a horse on your left. Carry on straight into DU TOITSPAN ROAD up to the GEORGE AND DRAGON PUB robot. Turn left at this robot and then right into ELSMERE Road. We are at 10 ELSMERE ROAD (cross one road and on your opposite right hand side corner of the second road). FROM CAPE TOWN First robot at the filling station. Carry on straight to next robot. Cross the robot into Lyndhurst Road (Fire station on the right). Continue straight to next robot. Turn right into DU TOITSPAN ROAD and continue to next robot (GEORGE AND DRAGON). Turn left at this robot and then right into ELSMERE Road. We are at 10 ELSMERE ROAD (cross one road and on your opposite right hand side corner of the second road). FROM BLOEMFONTEIN AND KIMBERLEY AIRPORT Drive straight into Kimberley past the DIAMOND PAVILION SHOPPING CENTRE on to the big circle with war memorial.. If there had not been a circle you would have traveled on more or less straight. There are five roads coming into the circle and you take the one ‘o clock. Straight down MEMORIAL ROAD up to the robot and the GEORGE AND DRAGON on the opposite corner with DU TOITSPAN ROAD. Carry on straight and take the first turn to the right into ELSMERE ROAD. We are at 10 ELSMERE ROAD (cross one road and on your opposite right hand side corner of the second road). FROM UPINGTON Drive straight into Kimberley past the GAME centre, straight on past the PICK N PAY centre up to the RENAULT GARAGE robot. Turn right into DU TOITSPAN ROAD up to the GEORGE AND DRAGON PUB robot. Turn left at this robot and then right into ELSMERE Road.
