The décor is classical, with an open plan feel. There is a large lounge and dining room with working fireplaces, and an enormous covered wrap around verandah which is ideal for entertaining. An enormous gourmet granite kitchen will satisfy the most discerning of cooks. An on site manager and cleaning staff (discreetly accommodated) are available to ensure that your stay is comfortable and convenient. FacilitiesWi-Fi internet is available throughout the lodge. Satellite TV and MNET is also provided. The sparkling swimming pool is set in the three acre tranquil garden wjhich includes an indigenous forest, offering amazing bird watching. LocationStoneybrae lodge is situated just off Fields Hill in Kloof is some 550m above sea level, set in acres of indigenous bush and tropical gardens with views that stretch to Durban and to the sea. The lush tropical garden is rich in birdlife from Crowned Eagles to Cape White Eyes. Kloof enjoys one of the healthier climates, a mere 20 minutes out of the humidity of Durban. Only 30 minutes drive from the airport, North or South Coast, and 15 minutes westerly, places you in the heart of the magnificent Valley of a 1000 Hills. AttractionsAll of the KwaZulu Natal major centres and top tourist destinations are very accessible. You are within 2˝ hours easy drive of the majestic Drakensberg Mountain Resorts and Northern Natal's Game Parks, on the door step of the Midlands Meander, 1000 Hills Experience, Wildlife parks as well as the fabulous "Blue Flag" beaches that embrace the warm waters of the Indian Ocean. For those on business, Stoneybrae is only 10 minutes from the commercial centres of Hammarsdale and Pinetown, which includes Westmead and New Germany and only 20 minutes from Durban CBD. DIRECTIONS: From Durban International Airport Take N2 north to exit 165 Take N3 direction Pietermartizburg to exit 17- which takes you onto the M13 Pinetown Take exit 22 – Kloof -Village Rd/ Pioneer Rd(M39) off ramp At the top of the off ramp go right over bridge At round about keep right There will be a Shell garage on the left, keep right following signs for Pinetown Come back on to the M13 – you will now be heading down Fields Hill Stay in left hand lane, exactly 1Km from onramp, the crash barrier will sudden end, turn sharp left into Jameson Terrace, it is a hair pin bend so please approach with caution Follow road to the end and take the right hand fork that leads up to No.16 (Do not take left hand fork that has Stoneybrae written on the gate).
