DESCRIPTION:

Southern Comfort is a group of 5 cabana style apartments / units on the northern edge of Southbroom beach in KwaZulu Natal, offering unique beachfront, seafront accommodation with exceptional views, and the sea crashing at your doorstep.

ACCOMMODATION


Our aptly-named units are each individually designed all with sea-facing patios. There is a communal pool and deck and secure parking.

“On The Pool”
"On The Pool" is a two-bedroomed cabana with it’s own private garden and pool and garage.

“On The Sea”
“On The Sea” is a two bed two bathroomed unit with extra bed in lounge.

“On The Rocks”
“On The Rocks” is a one bedroomed with fold out mattress in the lounge.

“Starfish”
“Starfish” is one bedroomed with extra bed in lounge

“Periwinkle”
“Periwinkle” is one bedroomed.

Each unit has a patio overlooking the beach, where you can sit in comfort and enjoy a family braai. Want to invite friends round to join you? You’ll find extra plates, glasses, knives and folks etc. in your inventory - no need to scratch around for a teaspoon! Everything you could possibly need to make this a holiday of a lifetime is provided.

FACILITIES


You provide your towels and toilet rolls - we provide the rest! You have an alarm system and safe. A DVD and colour TV with DSTV (22 channels) is provided for your entertainment. A boogy board for the kids. A beach bag full of balls and a bat & ball set. Playing cards for those duller days. Beach chairs and umbrella. And more.

SERVICES


All our accommodation is serviced daily, (excluding Sundays), this is included in the price quoted. Our maids sometimes do personal laundry for guests in their free time. This is not part of their daily servicing. If you require this service, please discuss fees with the ladies.

Our contact details are permanently displayed in all of our units should you need assistance for anything, and our phone is answered 24 hours a day in case of emergencies.

Not sure what to do when you get here? Each of our places has a comprehensive information pack filled with local attractions, bars, restaurants etc.

ACTIVITIES


200metres north to Ski Boat Bay is where we have our Ramsgate Ski Boat Bay adventures (for all ages): Our legendary skipper and trained lifeguards are on hand daily.

Visit our Billsbest Boat House to book: Pleasure trips to see whales, dolphins, and the world famous 'Sardine Run', Diving, Shore Fishing, Deep Sea Fishing, sea and surf Kayaking, surfing, boogie boarding, spear fishing, snorkel with Sea scooters. Never tried it? It's easy - we have training courses! Also rental of beach chairs and umbrellas.

DIRECTIONS:

Take the N-2 South Coast Highway from Durban, past Durban International Airport and travel ± 140 km to the R620 - Margate/Ramsgate off-ramp. Turn left at the end of the off-ramp. Go to the first stop (± 1 km) then turn right into Marine Drive. Travel down the hill, past the Waffle House, over the lagoon and up to the BP garage on the left. If your arrival is arranged for after 4pm or on a Sunday, please collect your keys at the BP, then travel +/- 1km to 'The Bistro' restaurant on the right, opposite the Bistro turn left into Beach road and drive down towards the seafront. Take the last road to the right, Frances road, and drive +/- 200 metres to Southern Comfort; the last property on the left before Frances road turns away from the sea. (Look for Bill's Best sign). Please use the service bell on the first silver gate.
