DESCRIPTION:

An exceptional Bed & Breakfast experience, where perfect location, fine food, abundant hospitality and attention to detail are keynotes of a memorable stay.

Rosetta House is a gracious Edwardian home, which is centrally situated, in exclusive Morningside (adjacent to the Berea), has been beautifully restored and is set in magnificent sub-tropical gardens. Safe, secure, well-lit, off street parking is available for all vehicles.

Morningside is a gloriously treed suburb of Durban, where classic examples of squat Edwardian and Victorian wrap-around verandah styled homes, many with corrugated iron and hipped roofs, add to the uniqueness of this conservation area.

A wander down trendy Florida Road will satisfy all the senses, from the outstanding variety of restaurants, cafes, eclectic décor stores, affordable designer shops to numerous art galleries (The African Art Centre, The Artisan Gallery, The Bank Gallery) which show- case the stunning basket ware, beadwork, carvings and paintings produced by fine local artists and craftspeople.
