DESCRIPTION:

“Nunuburd” is dedicated to providing good value for money accommodation and service beyond compare, ensuring your accommodation needs are not only met, but exceeded. “Nunuburd” is owner run and managed by Phillip and Shelley-Ann who have a combined 16 years experience in the hospitality industry having worked for Sun International, The Westcliff (Orient Express Hotels), The Sheraton Pretoria Hotel and Towers and Peermont Global.

“Nunuburd” is a friendly Bed & Breakfast and Self Catering venue with a communal interactive kitchen that stays open 24 hours a day. We offer secure off street parking on the premises. Each guest receives a remote control to enter and exit the property. A security guard is on duty at night.

Eat in or pop down to the trendy Davenport District which is 5 minutes away to enjoy a meal or a drink at one of the many diverse restaurants on offer, alternatively the Florida Road hot spots are just 10 minutes away.

Accommodation


Each of our stylishly decorated spacious rooms has its own private entrance, air-conditioner, heater, TV, room safe, mini bar fridge (Bring your own - we only stock on request), sitting area, mini work station and a tea/coffee station (tea, coffee, hot choc, sugar and mini milk provided). A shower cap, soap and a shampoo are provided per person. Linen and bathroom towels are provided (please provide your own beach / pool towel). All the rooms are serviced on a daily basis by our staff.

Single
A double bed or a single bed (Single by prior arrangement only)

Double Sharing
A double bed

Twin Sharing
A double bed and a single bed, or two single beds

Triple Sharing
A double bed and a single bed or three single beds

Family Room Sharing
A double bed, two singles or two Double bunks

Private Dormitory Sharing
Maximum six persons (By prior arrangement only)

Meals


Breakfast lunch and dinner can be arranged with prior notice and special dietary considerations can be incorporated where possible and reasonable.

FACILITIES


Transfers can be done to and from the airport as well as other points of interest within the province of KZN only with prior notice. A laundry service (non-dry cleanable) and internet access are available by prior arrangement.

LOCATION


We are 500 metres from the UKZN Howard College Campus, 1 km from Entabeni Hospital, 1.5 km from St. Augustine’s Hospital, under 10 minutes to Musgrave Centre and the Pavillion and just over 10 minutes to the beachfront and other major sporting venues, the ICC, uShaka Marine World and other points of interest in and around Durban.

DIRECTIONS:

From the N3 into Durban, Take the Berea road/Ridge Road offramp and turn right over the bridge into South Ridge Road, Continue past Entabeni Hospital until you reach Manor Drive, Turn right into Manor Drive and then left into Claire Avenue, Drive approx 300m and look for Nunuburd on your left hand side opposite #74 Claire Avenue.
