ActivitiesOn site: 18 holes of golf, beauty treatments, miles of secluded beach, a private lagoon, trails through indigenous forest, boating facilities, swimming, tennis and squash. Nearby: The Battlefield sites, Phinda, Hluhluwe / Mkuze Game reserves and other KZN Wildlife's spectaculars are two hours away. Closer to home are The King Shaka Memorial, Shakaland and numerous ethnic experiences in The Kingdom of the Zulu. GolfWith large greens, undulating fairways each and every hole is unique and provides golfers with a most rewarding and challenging golf experience. The Peter Matkovich designed golf course has constantly been ranked as one of the top courses in the country and certainly one of Kwa Zulu Natal's finest. The course is a links/parkland layout with magnificent sea views, natural bush and Zululand interior. In February of 2005 we received one of eleven awards for a “ Five Star Golf experience” in South Africa. With our home from home atmosphere all guests are made to feel like members for the duration of their stay. The 15th, the signature hole is an excellent par-five with superb views 60km all the way down the coast to Umhlanga. This fairway, which runs parallel to the sea, is overlooked by many of the private homes that are built on this estate, all with commanding views of the course and the surrounding magnificent countryside. |
