DESCRIPTION:

Leopard Mountain Game Lodge is the ideal getaway where everybody from the old to the young will enjoy a fascinating experience in the wild. Relax in our unique rock pool with fantastic views of the beauty around you.

Visit the world's greatest Black Rhino and White Rhino reserves, or snorkel and scuba dive on the world famous Sodwana reefs, or go tiger-fishing on Lake Josini.

Entrust us with your special occasions - the picture perfect backdrop of the African bushveld lends itself to the perfect setting for a romantic wedding and/or honeymoon getaway. Allow us to be a part of your special memories on these joyous events. We have created a place especially for you. Join us for peace, tranquillity and friendly hospitality at our exceptionally beautiful lodge with the most spectacular views in Zululand from the Umsunduze River meandering below to the distant Lebombo Mountains.

Accommodation

All of our accommodation is luxurious - stone and thatch chalets nestled on the cliff top overlooking the Umsunduze river below and the distant Lebombo mountains. Each chalet has it's own private deck with hammock, bathroom en-suite, incredible views, mini bar, tea and coffee facilities, small lounge area and of course twin beds - family rooms have bunks as well. There is no air-conditioning in the chalets but very high 'semi open' ceilings with overhead fans (all closed off with mosquito meshing).

After a hearty buffet breakfast, spend the day discovering the many unforgettable experiences we can offer. This is the place to be for all outdoor enthusiasts.

Accommodation includes all game drives on the reserve, superb dinners, a hearty breakfast and if you can still fit it in, a scrumptious afternoon tea and cake.

Activities

Activities available nearby, making ideal day trips, include Elephant or Rhino Tracking, Lake Cruises, Game Viewing on Horseback, Game Drives at Hluhluwe / Mkuze Game Reserves, Bird-watching, Hiking Trails, Tiger Fishing, Sunset Cruise – Lake Jozini, Diving at Sodwana, 4x4 Trails, Mountain Bike Trails, Whale Watching - Seasonal (June to November) and the Zulu Cultural Experience.

Conferences

At Leopard Mountain Game Lodge we also offer a full conferencing venue which includes overhead projector, white board, flip chart, TV and VCR, pens and pads. Should you wish to make use of any of the following team building activities during or after your conference, these can be worked into your itinerary. We are able to accommodate 30 persons overnight or on a day conference.

Team Building

At Leopard Mountain Game Lodge we have had tremendous success with our team building sessions. By using adventure activities in a carefully planned environment we encourage people to work closer together and break down those barriers that often arise in the workplace. Our programmes are fun and promote a healthy lifestyle, an active concern for the environment and cross-cultural bonding. We strive to offer exactly what you the customer wants and are extremely flexible in putting together an itinerary.

We are able to accommodate 30 persons overnight. Our rates are dependent on the size of your group and the activities you choose. The full range of team building activities we offer include boat cruises, paintball, tiger fishing, beach volley ball in the river, spear throwing, mud fights, informative game viewing on our reserve, drumming circles, evening games and story sessions by 'firelight' in our boma.
