The Elephant Hills B&B in Richards Bay is situated on the North Coast of KwaZulu Natal, in the Zululand region, a comfortable one and a half hour's drive from Durban. Richards Bay has it's own airport which is approximately 10 minute's drive from the guest house. It is situated in the upmarket suburb of Meerensee, which, as the name states, lies between the Indian Ocean and Lake Mzingazi. Richards Bay Country Club is within 1km from the guest house, on the shores of Lake Mzingazi with it's lush 18 hole golf course, tennis, squash courts and sports fields. Close to shopping centres that offer anything guests could require. ACCOMMODATIONThe house itself consists of 4 rooms in-house and 4 self-catering units. Bed & Breakfast All rooms are en-suite and fitted with air-conditioning for the warm, sub-tropical climate of Zululand. There is a pool-room in-house, large patio with bar and braai facilities under a lapa, next to the swimming pool and Jacuzzi, also under a lapa. Self Catering Apartments The self-catering apartments each have their own en-suite bathrooms and kitchenette consisting of a bar-fridge, microwave oven, coffee maker, toaster, etc. Each room has it's own TV with M-NET and DSTV as well as pre-paid telephones and internet availability. • Room service is on offer. • Full Continental breakfasts are served. • On-site secure parking for 6 vehicles and a security guard at night. • We also provide airport-shuttle service. RICHARDS BAYRichards Bay is an easy drive from the St.Lucia Wetlands, which is a World Heritage Site, as well as Sodwana Bay, Fanie's Island and Mapelane, very popular fishing sites. Hluhluwe and the Hluhluwe Game Reserve are about an hour and a half's drive away and is a very popular tourist attraction. This busy town has everything one might need, from top seafood restaurants to Steak Ranches and Cafe's. Watersport is very popular and beaches are busy all year round in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean. Fishing will always be an important part of this great vacation spot and deep-sea charters are easily available. |

DIRECTIONS: Turn off the N2 at the Richards Bay offramp and follow the sign boards into the R34 for +/- 18 km going straight without turning off at any of the traffic lights. Upon entering the suburb of Meerensee you enter into Anglers Rod roadway. Turn left into the 4th Street on your left Krewelkring, then the 5th turn to your left is Marlynhoek Street.
