It is literally a stones throw away from Umhlanga Village with its Blue Flag Status beaches. Gateway Theatre of Shopping is a 2 minute drive away and Durban CBD and ICC are about 15 minutes drive. Umhlanga New Town Centre and the La Lucia Ridge office park are on our doorstep. It is close to both the M4 and the N2 highways making access to Durban and the rest of KZN extremely efficient. This makes it an ideal accommodation venue for both holiday makers and business people alike. AccommodationThe accommodation consists of a 3-roomed cottage and 3 Studio suites, both of which are let as B&B accommodation most of the year. They are all, however, ideally suited for those of you who prefer to holiday on a self-catering basis. The cottage can accommodate 6-7 guests and the studio units can accommodate 2 adults per suite. Room 4 can accommodate a family with 2 small children. The Cottage is tastefully decorated and has a well-equipped kitchen and a spacious dining and lounge area opening onto a sea-facing balcony. There is a deck area with seating at the entrance to the cottage with barbecue facilities available on request. • Room 1: King size/ twin bed, en suite shower, sea facing. • Room 2: Double bed, en suite shower, sea facing. • Room 3: Double bed, en suite shower over bath, private entrance. Each unit opens onto a balcony with views over the swimming pool and lovely sea views. DIRECTIONS: From Durban - M4: Take the Umhlanga off ramp. Turn left away from Umhlanga Village. First traffic light, turn right. Follow the road around to the right. At the T-junction, turn left into Hilken Drive. Follow the road around to the right to number 39 Hilken Drive, Crooked Tree Cottage. From the Airport - N2: Take the Umhlanga off ramp. Turn right. Take second off ramp to Umhlanga Rocks Drive and turn left. Go through 2 traffic circles and follow the road to Royal Palm Avenue, turn right. At the water feature circle turn left, then first right into Pearl Drive. At the bottom of Pearl Drive you are facing Crooked Tree Cottage.
