ACCOMMODATIONThis luxury self catering apartment consists of a lounge, dining area and a fully fitted kitchen. There are three double bedrooms with a main en suite. The apartment can comfortably sleep six people with a queen size bed in the main bedroom and two single beds in each of the other bedrooms. Quality linen is provided. There is an additional bathroom and toilet. APARTMENT FACILITIESOff the lounge and the main bedroom are sliding doors onto a large sun drenched patio with breaker views of the sea and the bathing beach. Sit on the patio and listen to the sounds of the ocean whilst enjoying your sundowners. The kitchen is well appointed and is fully equipped. The kitchen counters have granite tops. There is also a microwave oven and under counter oven and hob. The apartment has satellite TV as well as a DVD player. The apartment is air conditioned and there is also a ceiling fan in the lounge. A laundry is available on the premises or alternatively your laundry and ironing can be done for you at a small additional cost. The apartment is serviced daily except on Sundays and public holidays. A Weber braai (barbecue) can be enjoyed on the patio or by the swimming pool. The beautiful swimming pool, situated in a manicured garden, is available for the exclusive use of guests. Lie by the pool and enjoy a leisurely day in the sun. Secure undercover parking in a lockup garage is provided for guest’s vehicles. LOCATION & ATTRACTIONSBen Siesta is in easy walking distance of the Umhlanga village. There are numerous hotels in the immediate vicinity where children can enjoy ten pin bowling, game arcades etc. There are several family and upmarket restaurants in easy walking distance of the apartment. Ben Siesta is so ideally situated, one can virtually park you car at the beginning of your holiday and have no need to use it again for your entire stay. Ben Siesta is a five minute drive from Gateway, (the largest shopping centre in the Southern Hemisphere) twenty minutes drive from Durban and the International Conference Centre (ICC). Durban International Airport is a twenty minute drive from Umhlanga Rocks. There are several fine restaurants in the village or at Gateway Shopping Centre. A private first world hospital is a five minutes drive away by car. There are several world class golf courses in the immediate vicinity. DIRECTIONS: Heading North on the N2: Take the M41 off-ramp (Umhlanga/Mount Edgecombe). Turn right (over the freeway) and continue for approx 1 km, passing Gateway Shopping Centre on your left. Take the M12 (Umhlanga Rocks Drive) off-ramp and continue north passing McDonalds and Umhlanga Hospital on your left. At the next traffic circle continue down Umhlanga Rocks Drive heading towards the sea. At the forth set of traffic lights turn left into Chartwell Drive/Lagoon Drive. Approximately 1 km along this road you will see Ben Siesta on your left (opposite 60 Lagoon Drive). Heading north on the M4: Taking the Umhlanga Rocks turn off, At the traffic lights turn right over the bridge (over the freeway). At the second set of traffic lights turn left into Chartwell Drive/Lagoon Drive. Approximately 1 km further along this road you will see Ben Siesta on you left (opposite 60 Lagoon Drive).
