ACCOMMODATION:Banana Beach Holiday Resort offers a variety of Self Catering accommodation, catering for all income groups: Rondavels:We offer 3 different types of rondavels ranging from 2 sleepers to 6 sleeper rondavels. All the units have got a fully equipped open plan kitchenette, lounge areas with TV (DSTV), bathroom with either bath or shower and either 1 or 2 bedrooms. Each unit has its own veranda with braai facility. There are 14 spacious Rondavels all with good views over the sea, and some with views of the lagoon. The units vary in size as follows: 2 Bed Rondavel These units are very comfortable for a couple, with a main bedroom with a double bed, open plan lounge with TV (6 Channels) and fully equipped kitchenette.The unit has a car port and a veranda with braai (BBQ) facility. 4 Bed Rondavel Spacious 2 bedroom Thatched Rondavel, one bedroom with a double bed, and the second bedroom with 2 single beds, open plan lounge area with TV (6 channels) and fully equipped kitchenette. The unit has a car port and a veranda with braai (BBQ) facility. 6 Bed Rondavel Two bedroom thatched rondavel, one bedroom with a double bed, and the second bedroom with 2 single beds and 2 single benches in lounge area, TV (6 channels) and fully equipped kitchenette. The unit has a car port and a veranda with braai (BBQ) facilities. Chalets:We have got 26 luxury chalets, varying in sizes to suite almost any family size.All the units have a full or partial view of the sea in the horizon, and are comfortably built to ensure that your stay is as memorable as the view. 4 Bed Chalet A two bedroom unit, with bathroom, fully equipped open plan kitchen, dining room area, lounge area with TV (6 channels), carport, veranda with built in braai (BBQ) facility. 6 Bed Chalet Main bedroom with a Double bed, Loft with 3 single beds, and a single day bed in the dining room area. Fully equipped open plan kitchen, dining room and lounge area with TV (6 channels). Carport and veranda with a built in braai (BBQ)facility. 8 Bed Chalet 2 Bedroom Chalet, main bedroom with a double bed, 2 single beds in the second bedroom, 3 single beds on the loft, and a day bed in the lounge area. Fully equipped open plan kitchen, dinning room, lounge area with TV (channels). Carport and veranda with built in braai (BBQ) facility. FACILITIES:On site facilities include a games room with pool tables, table tennis and video game. There is a play area with trampoline, jungle gym and volleyball court. There is a laundromat on site for your convenience at a nominal fee. The lagoon (pier) is the ideal spot to sit and relax, while you do some fishing. The facility also has a lapa area that can be used for functions, or to just relax and while waiting for the big one to bite. The Cycad Trail Take some time to walk through our well maintained gardens and view and identify our beautifully cycad collection of 7 different species of cycads. While on the walk you can also view some of the other fantastic plant life in our gardens as well as the various bird species that are found in our area. CONFERENCES:If you are looking for the ideal place to have that next company conference, or "span bou" weekend, then look no further. We have got a fully equipped conference venue that can seat up to 100 delegates in a host of seating arrangements, with equipment including all audio visual aids. ATTRACTIONS:The South Coast of Kwazulu Natal is filled with a host of activities and attractions to keep the family busy. These activities include golf, fishing, bungi jumping, Abseiling, game reserves, deep sea charters, diving, snorkelling and much more. The area is also becoming ever popular for eco-tourism, with Birding becoming a big attraction, on site we offer the opportunity to participate in this past time with a bird list of the area. All the trees have been numbered and tagged for easy identification, and we boast with 8 different species of and more than 100 cycads in our lush gardens. |
