Balmoral Guest House, situated in the beautiful area of Durban North, offers up-market "home from home" accommodation for the business person or guests requiring a pleasant and relaxing stay while away on holiday, visiting family or friends or for those touring South Africa.

Accommodation

The Guest House comprises eight well appointed bedrooms: 6 standard and 2 Executive, all very bright, sunny and spacious with en suite bathrooms (1 with a shower only). Honeymooners or those celebrating anniversaries will enjoy the privacy of an upstairs room with its romantic ambience and the luxurious shower and Jacuzzi bath.

Each room has a private sun decked patio where guests are able to relax in their own quiet space and enjoy the complimentary tea and coffee facility (or ice water served daily) with rusks and biscuits in the early morning or the late evening before retiring to bed.

Extreme quality has been purchased with regards to beds, linen and towels.
All the usual hotel amenities have been supplied in each room: shampoo, shower gel, liquid hand soap, bath soap, tissues and shower cap.

All rooms are equipped with:

• Television (some DStv, M-Net, SABC and Etv programmes)

Breakfast

Breakfast which is served every morning on the patio consists of a good healthy Continental breakfast of fruit, juices, yoghurts, cereals and pancakes, muffins, croissants or scrumptious cooked breakfasts from quarter English to full English and with either fried, poached or scrambled eggs, or for those who prefer omelettes with a choice of fillings. All dietary preferences must be requested when booking.

Dining

Dinner is available on request. An enquiry to be made when booking in order for a menu to be forwarded through for the guest to make his / her selection of what is required – the prices of each dish will appear on the menu. Dinner is only available Mondays to Thursdays (except public holidays). Should dinner be required any other time, it must be by prior arrangement.

• Fax facilities on request

Transfer services to and from the airport can be arranged and the account will be charged accordingly. Taxi Services (in and around Durban North area) can also be arranged at an additional cost. The Guest House is very secure with electric fencing and an electronic gate as well as off street parking.
