This lovely guest house has high ceilings, keeping it cool in summer and boasts a fresh, clean French Provencal style, with refined comfort, luxury touches and superb hospitality. AccommodationWe have six double rooms, all en-suite, with air-conditioning and some have access to a separate entrance to ensure privacy. There are three rooms with extra length double beds and three rooms with extra length single beds. Our bedrooms are tastefully decorated; wrapped in 100% cotton linen, include DSTV Hotel bouquet and tea trays. Safe parking is available on the property. Each room has its own safe. Wireless internet is available, Visa cards acceptable, remote gate access and there is a swimming pool to cool off during the summer months. Airport collections and drop off’s as well as delicious home made dinners can be arranged (please do give us enough notice). CONFERENCESFor a small intimate conference venue away from the bustle of the office, look no further as we will cater for board meeting, seminars, training, wine tasting and management meetings. The function room has a wrap around veranda that overlooks the swimming pool. The conference packages include flip chart/whiteboard and whiteboard pens, water and mints. Tea/coffee can be served on the veranda or take a break under the trees in the garden next to the swimming pool. Décor - all tables are covered with white tablecloths to keep the colour palette neutral. There is also on-site parking for approximately 25 cars. LOCATIONWe are ideally situated approximately 12Km from Durban City, beaches, Umhlanga, Sun Coast Casino, uShaka Theme World and Durban International Convention Centre. 5k from the Pavilion Shopping centre / Westville Hospital / Westway Office Park and Derby Downs Office Park with easy access to the N3, M13 and the M19 highways. Avilla House is in close proximity to Pinetown, New Germany and Westmead - about 7 minutes drive. The following Golf Courses are also in close proximity - Kloof Country Club, Durban Country Club, Royal Durban and Beachwood. Centrally situated should you be looking for accommodation in Durban for Indaba, Comrades Marathon, Vodacom Durban July or Durban Home and Garden Show. DIRECTIONS: FROM DURBAN ON THE M19 HIGHWAY Take exit 10 off the M19 Highway - Dunkeld Road fly off. At the yield, turn left. At the traffic lights, turn left into Blair Atholl Road / Rodger Sishi Road. Pass the Spar on your right. 30metres after the next set of traffic lights, turn left into Perth road, first right into Waterloo road and then left into Wellington Road. FROM DURBAN ON THE M13 HIGHWAY Take exit 12 - Westville/Blair Atholl Road fly off. At the traffic lights turn right into Blair Atholl Road/Rodger Sishi Road. Travel along for approximately 2km (if you get to the petrol station on the left – you have gone to far) and turn right into Waterloo and right into Wellington Road. FROM THE NEW KING SHAKA AIRPORT via the M19 Get onto the N2 South/Durban Highway. Follow the N2 Toll Road signs (R4.00 for the toll road). Continue straight following the N2 Durban, N3 Pietermaritzburg signs. Take Exit 170 - Inanda Road, Umgeni Road fly off. Go straight through traffic lights and at the next set of traffic lights, turn right onto the M19 Westville road. Take exit 10 off the M19 Highway – Dunkeld Road fly off. At the yield, turn left. At the traffic lights, turn left into Blair Atholl Road./Rodger Sishi Road. Pass the Spar on your right. 30metres after the next set of traffic lights, turn left into Perth road, first right into Waterloo road and then left into Wellington Road. FROM THE NEW KING SHAKA AIRPORT via N3 Get onto the N2 South/Durban Highway. Follow the N2 Toll Road signs (R4.00 for the toll road). Continue straight following the N2 Durban, N3 Pietermaritzburg signs. At the interchange continue following N3 Pietermaritzburg/Johannesburg signs. Take the M32 Westville/Spine Road/St James Avenue fly off and turn right at the traffic lights, over the bridge. After the 3rd set of traffic lights, pass a church on the left and via left at the T-junction. This will take you into Jan Hofmeyr Road. At the next set of traffic lights, go right into Blair Atholl Road/Rodger Sishi Road. Travel along for approximately 2km (if you get to the petrol station on the left – you have gone too far) and turn right into Waterloo and right into Wellington Road.
