Situated between Durban's Golden Mile and Umhlanga Village Resort, Africa Regent offers complete relaxation for the tourist or busy traveller. Africa Regent is a distinctly different family run luxury guest house offering personalised service, impeccable attention to detail, great value for money and a distinctive quality experience.

Exclusively for our guests is a spacious lounge, dining room, patio, and bar complete with TV, pool table and darts. The bar opens onto a natural rock swimming pool with cascading waterfall. Adjacent to the pool is the entertainment area for buffet and braai (barbeque).

The traditional African décor abounds throughout with each of the six double bedrooms (5 double and 1 single) all en-suite with bath and shower and appointed with air-conditioning, ceiling fan, safe, satellite TV, hair dryer, bathrobes, toiletries, hostess trays. Our penthouse, set in a nautical theme, has lovely views of the bay and ocean.

DIRECTIONS:

From The South Coast:
Follow the N2 Freeway North then take the exit N3 Freeway (City). Follow the N3. Approaching the city the road splits. Take the left fork M4 (North Coast & Beaches). Proceed along M4 (Old Dutch - Alice St - Old Fort Rd) until you reach junction with the M12 next to the cricket ground and turn left for Durban North. Follow instructions from Durban CBD below.

From Johannesburg:
Approaching Durban on the N3 Freeway pass over N2 contiuing on the N3 for City. Follow instructions as South Coast above.

From Durban CBD:
Leaving the City Centre take the M12. Pass Stadium. Proceed over the Umgeni River Bridge where the road becomes M12 Northway. Pass KFC. At the third set of lights turn right into Old Mill Way and then take the second turn left into Regent Place. We are No 24 near to the end of the road on the right.

From the International Airport and North Coast:
From the airport take the N2 South. Take the Umhlanga exit (J185) then turn left on the M41 for Umhlanga. Proceed until you reach the M4 coastal highway. Proceed south on the M4 from Umhlanga towards Durban, take exit (4) Durban North / SWAPO. Turn right over the freeway and after the yield you will see an ENGEN Petrol Station on your left. Turn left into Old Mill Way (rugby field on right). Proceed up Old Mill Way until you reach Regent Place (8th road on your right). Turn right into Regent Place. We are No 24 near to the end of that road on the right.
