We pride ourselves as a bed and breakfast that excels above the rest with its multi-facet facilities that include luxury in the form of a 4-star establishment, beauty encrypted in a lush garden overlooking striking sea-views and excellent, efficient service that, coupled together, form a holidaymakers dream anchors rest. AccommodationThe B&B comprises of 12 rooms in total, with a dining room, sitting area and patio. Each room is serviced daily and has an en-suite bathroom kitted with personal toiletries. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and include tea/coffee making facilities, a microwave and fully stocked mini fridge, hair dryers, air-conditioning and TV that has access to various DSTV channels, including sport, news and movie channels. Family room This is a room that consists of two separate rooms with separate entrances, adjoined together by a door inside. Both rooms have the usual amenities like TV, microwave and mini-fridge, but one room has two separate twin beds while the other has a queen-sized bed and bathroom, perfect for a travelling family. Executive room This room is a very large room with mini-kitchen facilities and has a bathroom with separate he/she basins and a Jacuzzi as well as a shower. The room overlooks the sea, and has a sliding door that leads to the patio. Self CateringPerfect for the 'independent' traveller, the air-conditioned self-catering suite is fully outfitted with everything one needs to feel at home, including a kitchen that is equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, toaster, various utensils, crockery and cookware and cleaning supplies. The bedroom area has a large, queen size bed with a sleeper couch which unfolds to sleep two people, there is also an en-suite bathroom with both a shower and a bath tub. BreakfastBreakfast is a family affair that involves a vast menu that looks to accommodate every type of guest. It includes both English and Continental breakfast options, supplemented by a range of juices and fruits and on request, can support specific dietary requirements. It can be enjoyed in the dining room, or outside on the patio overlooking the garden and sea-views. FacilitiesWhether on an urgent business trip or just looking for a few days of relaxation, regardless of the motive, we provide the means. We have fast wireless internet access and faxing and printing equipment, there is also a beautiful rock pool to cool off in, as well as laundromat services that are available for use on request. Cabs, shuttle services and airport transport can be arranged and the security of our guests is a high priority as our establishment has electric fencing, CC TV and on-site parking. Attractions and ActivitiesWe are located just a 10 minute drive away from the beach, and are five minutes away from Gateway Shopping and Entertainment Centre and the Sharks Board. We are also ideally situated a mere 5 minutes away from Umhlanga Village, a beautiful area that is noted for its vast variety in restaurants, pubs, shops and tourist attractions and easy access to the beach. We are just a 15 minute drive away from the King Shaka Airport and other nearby attractions include: Croc World uShaka Marine World and Wet & Wild Mt. Edgecombe and Durban Country Club golf clubs Dolphin viewing and scuba diving Sibaya Casino Suncoast Casino and beach Durban city centre and the International Convention Centre |
