OR Tambo International Airport is the air transport hub of Southern Africa, catering for over 11 million passengers each year. With more than 18 000 people employed by various companies at OTI, the airport plays a vital role in the city's and Gauteng province's economy and boasts an impressive infrastructure that has expanded by thousands of square metres from its modest origins.

Foreign Exchange:
The foreign exchange outlets for ABSA Bank, American Express, Rennies Foreign Exchange and Master Currency are all located in the public concourse of the International Arrivals Hall (Terminal 2). ABSA Bank also has an outlet in the holding lounge of the International Departures Hall (Terminal 6) (not for use by South African residents).
Restrooms:
Restrooms, mothers' rooms and diaper changing facilities are available in all terminals.

VAT Refunds:
The VAT Refund outlet is situated in the Holding Lounge of the International Departures Terminal. Note that all invoices must be stamped by Customs officials (Public Concourse of the same Terminal) before proceeding to the VAT Refund outlet.
