The McCarthy Toyota Half Marathon takes place in the suburb of Rietondale Park in Pretoria. The closest suburb is Riviera. This one lap course is a moderate route offering long, straight, fairly flat stretches. There are relaxing downhill bits and challenging uphill sections.

The finish venue offers food, refreshments and kids entertainment. Walkers are welcome. This is usually one of the biggest and most popular half marathons in North Gauteng.
