Johannesburg South Family Festival in Alberton

The Johannesburg South Family Festival & Expo is a joint venture of JhbSouth.co.za, Rietvlei Zoo Farm and the Community Policing Forum (CPF), helping to create awareness and raise funds for our local CPF, whilst providing local residents and businesses, charities, and organisations with a weekend of family fun and entertainment.

The outdoor Festival Expo will help create a sense of pride in Johannesburg South and Alberton and help establish Johannesburg South as a Community. The Festival Expo will also provide a platform for the promotion of local business, community organisations and NGOs with the main focus on creating awareness and raising funds for our local Community Policing Forum (CPF) and helping fight crime, making Johannesburg South a safer place to work and live.

The venue for this year's event is the Rietvlei Zoo Farm, situated on Swartkoppies Road between Mulbarton and Alberton, south of Johannesburg. Rietvlei Zoo Farm is regarded as Johannesburg South's best kept secret, due to its position and relaxed family and outdoor environment with activities such as picnic areas, farmyards, party and conference venues, bicycling and walking trails, offering fantastic family and outdoor facilities for exhibitors, entertainment and visitors and opening up a host of possibilities for new activities at the Festival Expo.

Entrance Fee: R25 per adult, R15 per child under age 12 and R10 for pensioners per day
