We loved our stay in the Cave. The views were stunning and the Cave was sooo well equipped for all living, cooking and Barbecuing! It also has an amazing bath.

Inkunzi Cave My wife, Sonette, and I celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary by spending a wonderful few days in the self catering unit Inkunzi Cave in the central Drakensberg. It is situated in the Cathkin Peak area of the Champagne Valley, a few of kilometers past the Drakensberg Boys Choir Campus. The "Cave" is hand crafted by the owner and wonderful hosts, artist Steve Bull and his wife, Estelle. For all intents and purposes it looks like a real cave (with windows) inside and out. The Interior is decorated with sculptures and paintings by Steve, even the shower looks and feels like a waterfall. The views from the cave is awesome, constantly changing as the light changes and faint sounds of a small river at the bottom of the valley adding to the ambiance. There is also a private braai area and a rock pool styled swimming pool with the water inlet being a small waterfall. The next place better than Inkunzi Cave can only be heaven . . . We also attended a Wednesday afternoon concert by the Drakensberg Boys Choir, a certain 'must do' item. In a radius of approximately 10km there is a Reptile Park, Falcon Ridge, glider flights, an Adventure Park for items like absailing and ziplining and some restaurants. A little further, some 25km, there is hot-air ballooning available at Winterton. What more can I say . . . AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME . . .

Our 3 night stay was very comfortable and location is amazing. Beautiful views of the mountains, close to different activities, from golf to raptors to trails to first class hotels and restaurants. Steve and Estelle are outstanding hosts, and have an amazing property with 3 different room options. Steve and Estelle went so far as to offer Diddly Squat for our daughter to stay in when she came to stay. She loved it and that kindness was very much appreciated. Highly recommended.

My girlfriend and I had the most amazing experience staying at Estelle and Steve's accommodation. We were blown away by not only the accommodation but by the hospitality of the owners, being so welcoming and lovely. We will be doing our very best to get back there in the near future.

Absolutely loved our stay at Diddly Squat, Steve and Estelle are amazing host which assisted us in every way they could. Our view from our bed of the Champagne Mountains were beautiful. We loved the crackling fire in the coal stove and would go back anytime.

Drakensberg is incredibly beautiful and our stay (we were a party of five) in the Zulu Hut, Inkunzi Cave and Diddly Squat Eco Abode was amazing. Having just attended a traditional Zulu wedding, we found the attention to detail in each unit both authentic and awe-inspiring. Steve and Estelle Bull, the creators of these marvelous structures (Inkunzi is Zulu for Bull) are so kind and generous with their knowledge. We felt as if we had stayed with friends and we look forward to returning. A perfectly lovely place to stay. Well done!

Amazing 2 nights in cave and pool! Great location and truly extremely kind hosts! Just one small point: cutlery and plates were not 100% clean.
