About Zomoya Game Farm
Zomoya Game Farm, nestled at the foot of the majestic Waterberg, is a tranquil retreat located 250 km from Pretoria. Spanning over 240 hectares and bordering the prestigious Welgevonden Game Reserve, it offers an unmatched bushveld getaway for the entire family.
Self-Catering Accommodation
Zomoya Game Farm operates on a solar power grid with a generator backup, featuring two self-catering camps: the Zomoya Main Lodge and Zomoya Bush Camp. Both can be booked exclusively or together for larger groups or families.
The Zomoya Main Lodge, accommodating up to 14 guests, includes seven separate bedrooms furnished with king-size, double, or single beds. Each room has an en-suite bathroom equipped with baths and showers or showers only. The fully equipped kitchen includes a gas stove, fridge, freezer, and dining area. The Main Lodge boasts a pizza oven, an outdoor boma braai, and an entertainment area with a pool table overlooking the inviting swimming pool, which is exclusively for the use of Main Lodge guests. Free Wi-Fi is available at Main Lodge only.
The Zomoya Bush Camp, situated apart from the Main Lodge, accommodates six guests in three separate rooms. It features a kitchen area and a boma. The main bedroom is furnished with a double bed and has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and an outdoor shower. The second room contains two single beds, and the third room has one double bed. These rooms share an outdoor shower with hot water provided by a hot water donkey.
Note that the swimming pool is exclusive to Main Lodge guests and not accessible to Bush Camp guests. No coffee/teas, etc are supplied, guests to bring their own including wood fire and ice.
On-site amenities for Main Lodge guests include a volleyball court and a pool table. Activities available to all guests include bird watching, mountain biking trails, guided game drives, fishing, a viewing deck, and hiking.
