About Ymansdam

Ymansdam is situated 90km from Calvinia at the foot of the Roggeveld Mountain and is close to the Tankwa Karoo National Park.

Accommodation

Our self catering farm cottage sleeps two people. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin.

The Cottage also has a small in-room open-plan, fully equipped kitchen, as well as a veranda with a fireplace.

There is a splash pool.

Services and Facilities

Various services and facilities are available on the premises. These include purchasing wood, braai areas under trees, meals by arrangement, outside ablution facilities and a warm shower.

Activities

Various walking, hiking and biking routes are located throughout the farm and for the more adventurous, there are also some fantastic 4x4 trails in the area.

In addition to this, we also have a farm dam, bicycle touring and bird watching. Donkey cart rides are available with prior arrangements and we have farm animals for the children to see.
