Woodcutters forest cottage is a place to still the mind, rest and heal amidst beautiful gardens and forest. The cottage is clean, decorated in an exceptionally creative and homely manner. Everything you need is there and more. Loved our stay!

We have had the most magical stay at this stunning cottage. Our hosts were fantastic and the cottage was thoughtfully provisioned, down to the milk in the fridge so we could have a cup of tea on arrival! There were fresh flowers in vases, the bed was comfy and the bathroom is a treat! This is a cottage to relax at, the view and stoep invite you to settle in and do nothing all day. The gardens are lovely and nice to meander around. The only downside is having to pack our bags and leave! I can't recommend this cottage enough if ypu are looking for comfort, chilled vibes, relaxation and a lovely rural setting.

Sorry M, but we have absolutely and utterly no negative feedback. None whatsoever. The bed was soft and warm, the logs plentiful, oh I did say to Michael there’s no colander to drain the salad leaves, then I found your beautiful one! It is all so exquisitely furnished, antiques and the merely old and the new. We LOVED it. And the deck, and the view from the deck. We were gobsmacked, it stopped our breath We were almost overcome by Hanne’s kindness when Ginger Snap vanished, and by Stoffie’s immense energy in so generously driving him home. Thank you all for your extreme professionalism and extraordinary kindness.

Woodcutters Cottage is in a stunning location & is beautifully & artistically furnished. You will need to take basics with you if you want to self-cater. It's good for dog lovers as the owner has several dogs which love to greet you & hang around the property.

The cottage was clean and very well equipped. Everything worked. Our hosts welcomed us and made sure that we had enough firewood for the lovely indoor fireplace. The location was superb with views of the forest and proximity to Jubilee Creek very close by. We loved our stay and will be back.

Absolutely Stunning! Our cottage was so cozy and watching the thunderstorm over the forest from our stoep was the warmest welcome we could have asked for. Our hosts were so welcoming and gave us great advise on hikes in the area, which we took full advantage of. Being surrounded by the forest was just the escape we needed to relax. We will definitely be back.

This was exactly what we were looking for. Alone in a cabin in the forest with not much around you, the sound and smell of the rain, cozy fireplace, amazing. Would recommend this place to anyone who really wants to get away from the city and have nothing but peace and quiet surround you. The cabin itself is beautifu and cozyl, with its wood finish. and the surroundings are breathtaking. Will definitely return.
