Jansehuis at Wolfkloof Boerdery offers accommodation in Swellendam in a quiet farming valley at the foot of the Langeberg Mountains. Guests are welcome to explore the Guest Farm or take part in the farming activities that take place on a daily basis. The farm borders the Marloth Nature Reserve and guests may encounter some wildlife roaming the premises.

Self Catering Accommodation

Jansehuis is a studio holiday cottage in Swellendam with stunning views. While it is off-grid, eco cottage, it has everything needed for a very comfortable stay.

The one bedroomed cottage is furnished with a double bed. The shower is situated on a screened wooden deck with no roof cover and the composting toilet is on the opposite corner of the deck. The toilet has a roof cover as well as a side canvas for guests requiring more privacy.

There is a well equipped kitchen including a fridge, stove, heater and geyser. These appliances are all gas operated. Cutlery and crockery, pot and pans, a braai grid and braai drum are provided.

Wake up to spectacular mountain views across a green valley with pastures and local dairy cows.

Cellphones and other electrical appliances can be charged at the main house. Guests are welcome to use the campsite's flushing toilets and electrical appliances. Please note that mobile signal is weak on the farm and we do not have high speed Wi-Fi.

The farm is 1.2km away on gravel road from the R60 sealed surface road. This gravel road is suitable for all vehicles at appropriate slow speeds. It is a farm road where you might encounter domestic as well as wild animals. Take care.
