Self Catering Accommodation

Elegans is a two-bedroom farm cottage in Nieuwoudtville sleeping four guests. The bedrooms are furnished with two three-quarter beds. The rooms each have an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin.

The living room is open plan with a small kitchenette, seating area and a wooden dining room table with eight chairs. There is a little oven with hotplate, kettle, toaster, microwave and a fridge for self-catering accommodation needs.

Inside braai and north facing windows for sunny winters and great views of the farm. The cottage has got Wi-Fi and during loadshedding the lights are functioning. It is a very spacious cottage which is not serviced and elevated with a few steps to enjoy the great views into the distance.

The Farm

There are many historical buildings to view for example the Smuts/Maritz office, the Waenhuis, the Opstal, and many more. For the adventurous people, there are also 4x4 routes and hiking routes that can be explored.

The seasonal flower routes like candlestick lilies and yellow "katstert" flowers are to be seen on these routes. A must to visit is the old graves, the "trapvloer" as well as the fountain and the old tractors.

As it is a working sheep farm, sheep shearing during spring (August) and in the autumn is very exciting as well as seeing the dogs in action getting the sheep together. At Gletser is a glacier pavement.
