Vlei House is a lovely characterful home offering accommodation in Wakkerstroom, bordering on the wetland. This is a prime birding area, peaceful, quiet and within easy walking distance to the village and it's variety of shops, restaurants and pubs.

Sweeping views of the wetland and mountains, perfect for bird and storm watching. Lush and green in summer, dryer in the winter months.

Self Catering Accommodation

Vlei House is a self catering holiday home in Wakkerstroom with four bedrooms and two bathrooms.

The first bedroom is furnished with a twin three quarter sized beds and two singles. The second and third bedrooms are each furnished with twin singles plus an additional single bed. The fourth bedroom is furnished with two single beds. There are two bathrooms, one is fitted with a shower, toilet and basin and the other is fitted with a bath, toilet and basin. All the bedrooms have panel wall heaters.

There is a huge open plan living area with a fully equipped kitchen which includes a dishwasher, electric stove, coal stove and small wood burning fireplace.

The house has a lovely patio with a Weber braai. Please bring your own charcoal and firelighters. There is a big lawned garden which is fenced and backs onto the vlei.
