We went there for our anniversity what a pleasent supprise. The road to Verreauxs Eagle is all tar except when you turn off to the cabins it is accessable with a normal car but a higher groubd clearence will help a lot. The booking process went well the communication from the resort is quick and effordless. When we were met at the cabin all things were explained to us. The cabin is 2 containers stacked back to back once inside you will not know, it is styled beautifully with lovely touches and colour schemes. The bedroom have ample space with a double door opening up to the outside veranda. The bathroom area has a nice big shower the layout makes it big enough for 2 people. The kitchen have all the utensils , the 2 plate gas stove is of a high quality and works well there is a sleeper couch which doubles up as lounge with doors that open up in the kitchen and the lounge as well as the side so there will be a nice airflow all doors leads to the veranda which helps a lot to keep the sun at bay. There is a outside bath with a view the only thing that I can fault is that the supply of warm water to the bath runs out quickly so you would have to boil the kettle a few times to fill the bath. The braai drum is next to the veranda a nice touch is the eco blitz and wood that they give you to start. a Few steps down you get your own resevoir (dam) what a life saver stocked with fresh water there you can swims to your content or just enjoy your morning coffee on the deck next to it. When you are braaing in the evening look up the stars is amazing. You can see the road but you get used to some road noice but it is not offputting. a Big thank you to Lucas for arranging some extra ice for us we do appreciate your assistance In the summertime it tends to get very hot - there is no Aircon as it is a Eco resort/Cabin but the fan helps a lot Defenitely one of our better stays , one that I can reccommend with a clear concience. Will we go back there - hell yes.

Lovely views and very nice set up. Cabin is solar powered so we were without power for a while on a rainy morning but otherwise all good

Beautifully located and well-equipped cottage. Tarred road to the gate of the farm which makes it accessible to most. Little gravel inside. Our own reservoir pool was the best especially given the hot weather this weekend! Outdoor bath was also an extra bonus with the best views. It's an eco cottage but an aircon would've been the best during the heat. Small fan worked overtime haha. One of our most beautiful stays yet! Great value for money
