About Vendôme Estate Manor House
Located in the scenic Paarl Valley, Vendôme Estate Manor House offers an elegant countryside retreat on a working wine and fruit farm steeped in history. The estate’s origins date back to 1690, when the French Huguenots first settled in the region. The Manor House itself, built in 1898, has been beautifully restored to preserve its heritage while embracing refined modern comfort, creating an atmosphere that is both graceful and inviting.
Accommodation
Framed by the towering Paarl and Drakenstein Mountains, our guest house provides a peaceful haven with easy access to the celebrated Paarl Wine Valley, renowned wineries, and excellent restaurants. The original Cape Dutch main house is non-smoking and surrounded by tranquil gardens, offering a spacious outdoor stoep shaded by an old oak tree, perfect for quiet moments and leisurely afternoons.
Guests can choose from five individually styled rooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom. Every room features a comfortable bed dressed in crisp linen and soft duvets, along with a private entrance for added privacy. Modern conveniences include complimentary Wi-Fi, a television, a hairdryer, and tea and coffee-making facilities.
