Umzumbe Surf House & Surf Camp is a beachfront surf destination on the South Coast of South Africa, specializing in surf lessons, surfboard rentals, surf tours and Surf N' Stay accommodation packages.

Accommodation

The house has seen generations of fun in the sun, beach holidays, parties and honeymoons. The house has five bedrooms, an open plan common area with lounge, dining area and kitchen with sea views.

There are two toilets and two baths inside the house that are shared amongst all. There are two outdoor showers to rinse off in, with hot water and a cool sea breeze.

The outdoor lounge is very welcoming, hugged with couches and pillows for leisurely reading or afternoon siestas. The outside deck and patio was designed for nothing but chilling in the sunbathing lounge chairs, picnic tables or hammocks. The kitchen is always clean and fully functional with a plenty fridge space, all utensils, microwave and stove.

Location

The property is located directly on the beach with private beach access. There are many little rock pools as well as two bays in front of the property with an incredible surf break. The Umzumbe Main Beach is a Blue Flag beach with life guards on duty 365 days a year and is only a two minute walk along the beach. The area is also littered with various surf breaks for all levels of experience.

Activities

We offer guided surf tours, surf lessons from absolute beginner to intermediate, surfboard rentals, yoga and guided hikes. The South Coast is also known as the ‘Golf Coast' boasting several premier golf courses on a 100km stretch.
