About Uitsig Boutique Hotel

Uitsig Boutique Hotel boasts accommodation with an iconic Cape Dutch, Morgenster style, gable which is one of only two such gables in South Africa. Uitsig Boutique Hotel was inspired by the rich history of the Goldfields and a long-standing dream to build a hotel in Welkom.

Officially pronounced a town in 1948, Welkom lies about 160km north of Bloemfontein in the Free State. The original Uitsig manor was built in 1971 to house high-ranking mining officials and was purchased in early 2019 in order to restore the iconic Cape Dutch architecture as well as establish a boutique hotel that celebrates Welkom.

Accommodation

Uitsig Boutique Hotel offers guests a choice of air-conditioned rooms that can sleep up to two guests each. Each of the rooms is fitted with a King-size bed or twin beds and has an en-suite bathroom with either a bath and shower or a shower only.

The rooms are equipped with TV's with selected DStv / Satellite channels, Wi-Fi access, telephones as well as tea / coffee making facilities. Guests can relax in the library, enjoy a drink at the bar or cool down in the swimming pool after a long day.
