This is a gem spot that cannot be missed. Wonderful accommodation and so much more than a stop over. This is a holiday destination too. Very impressed. Service is brilliant.

A stunning tranquil resort that energizes you to stay longer. The best halfway stop i discovered so late in all the years of traveling to and from the Cape. A definite stop over for all our future ventures past the resort. Friendly staff, excellent food and accommodation.

What a wonderful stopover on the way back from Cape Town to Johannesburg. A real oasis. Just outside Colesberg so pretty much midway. The staff (Tania) was very warm and welcoming, the room was clean, spacious and the bed is very comfortable. The setting and the view over the Orange River are spectacular and relaxing. The bar is well stocked with cold beer, nice gin and decent well-priced wine. The dinner, home cooked food (we had the lamb shank) was delicious and just what one needs on a trip like this. The breakfast was the only mildly disappointing aspect - quite limited, very basic, but still nicely cooked. Overall, a definite stopover for us whenever we do the CT/Jhb trip, either way.

We had a wonderful one night stay - relaxing, with a beautiful position on the river, a delicious home cooked poitjie dinner and very friendly, helpful service. We wished we were able to stay longer. Next time!

Reception and service was exceptional. Accomodation is top class. I will surely recomend this venue to anyone.
