It was a comfortable stay in Ficksburg during the cherry festival; however, some improvements are needed. The shower was very intermittent and varied between hot and cold., The bathroom had no window. The Wi-Fi was also very intermittent. The breakfast in the morning was good and staff were friendly.

The Woodpecker Guesthouse was clean and the bedroom was very comfortable. The breakfast was lovely and so well prepared and presented.

No doubt where to stay when again in Ficksburg; facilities are excellent while the host shares warm & friendly hospitality making this a true home-from-home. Highly recommended.

A little bit pricey considering the area and accommodation. Hosts were very friendly and helpful.
