Royal Coachman at Kingfisher Lodge offers comfortable self catering accommodation in Waterval Boven, near Machadodorp. You’ll see the great outdoors in a whole new light that is sure to leave you feeling relaxed and recharged. Dullstroom is approximately 20 kms from The Kingfisher Trout Lodge and Badplaas is about 35 kilometres away.

Royal Coachman is comfortable for a bunch of friends or a large family. This house sleeps a total of ten guests, six adults and four children.

There are three en-suite bedrooms, two are furnished with a Queen-size bed and two single beds. The third is furnished with two single beds. Two en-suite bathrooms are fitted with a shower, toilet and basin and one is fitted with a bath, toilet and basin.

The chalet is serviced daily, and the bedding, towels are provided. The unit has a kitchenette with a fridge, a microwave, a stove, crockery, and cutlery.

The chalet also features a fireplace and a private patio with braai facilities.

Pets

We are Pet Friendly as long as your fur babies have their own beds and are on leashes when walking around.

The main lodge has a guest lounge with a TV and DStv and meals are available on request. The bar is fully licensed and there is a shared lounge. Guests have the freedom to go hiking and cycling on site and nearby. During your stay you can explore the forest and enjoy fly fishing. The pools below the 100m waterfall are great for picnicking and swimming. The cliffs are also home to breeding colonies of endangered Bald Ibis.
